hi
I'm still getting familiar with the land cruiser. Yesterday, I noticed that a clamp was broken under the hood. What is it and what's the easiest way to order and replace it? It looks like a simple DIY. Also, what is the "hose" that it holds?
Thanks!

It holds the wiring harness (the large one below it) up against the firewall and away from the your A/C evaporator lines, it is sitting on now.

The wiring harness bundle goes through your firewall and into the interior of the vehicle, then back behind the intake manifold, so it does need to be supported.

The clamp (when replaced) just pushes onto the metal clip that is attached to your firewall. You are missing one half of your clamp. It is sort of 'hinged' and snaps together over the wiring bundle.

Thanks for the response @flintknapper! That was really helpful.

Based on your response, I found this thread in the 80 forum Mystery wiring harness clamp

Is part 82711-3H180 the OEM part for the 100-series or is it another part? I'd prefer to not have a ziptie as a permanent solution.

Cheers

It is the correct 'style' clamp....but I think you will find it is not the correct diameter clamp. The 80 series and 100 series both use the clamp for the same purpose in the same location, BUT the 80 series wiring harness bundle is significantly smaller than the 100 series (in diameter).

So...without the clamp in hand....I can't say whether or not it could be be made to work.

I'd hit that with some electrical tape or similar. Call it a day. Save money for other stuff.

I'm not finding a part number or source for it. May have to find a reasonable facsimile from another Toyota vehicle to use in its place, unless someone can I.D. it.
