Stupid economy. Stuff is adding and it would really be nice to pay some bills that have come up (washer/ refridgerator both just died, engagment ring). Anyway I have an 85 FJ60 and a 78 FJ40. I have done alot of work to the 60, the 40 has some rust on the back and the transfer case is stuck in 4h (only rear wheels pull though). I have a hardtop and ambulance door for the 40 btw.

The 60 is for sale in the classifieds, with no response. I really don't want to sell my 40 but its not looking good.

Just changed all fluids on 40, tires balanced/aligned, brake lights, top bolts, weather stripping. Alot of tinkering and fixing little things like this. It is really in good shape

What do you guys think they are worth? I don't want to give eigther one away but need to sell at least one.

Craigslist them my friend. Sorry to hear about the circumstances causing your forced sale. Location of sale is a huge factor in price. Check for similar items on your local Craigslist for a place to start on your price. Good luck!

I live in northern Alabama. There aren't many for sale around here except for a sweet 78 same color as mine on 35's for 8k. I was thinking that was a good deal. If I wasn't paying 3600 a semester for grad. school there would be no problem keeping them. I will just quit school and keep my cruisers:bounce2:. The 40 took me forever to find. I am pretty partial to the 60 too, I drove it daily for a while.

Not a big deal, I want a 40 that is a little more beat up anyway. I feel weird about taking a nice one on trails.

I live Huntsville and know a few guys with Cruisers and even more guys who love Toyota 4x4's. Shoot me a PM with details of what you have and what you need to get out of your trucks and I'll send out some emails and calls to see if anyone is interested.

Hate to hear that you need to get rid of them but sometimes that's the responsible thing to do.
