I have had one set of the bags blow out through the springs at maybe 45 PSI. I am very careful now to not go over 35 PSI on mine now.

That makes sense to me. At about 38# I pushed my thumbs against the bags and they were Very Rigid. The customer service rep on the phone told me 100#, maybe he was deep into some medicinal marijuana for his cataracts.
