What has everyone been paying for 100 series lately?

I found a clean southwestern 2000 100 series with 114k miles. No rear locker. Original owner no accidents, clean Carfax few light scuffs on bumpers clear coat still reflects. Good looking truck. They are asking 13,500 for it. Is this to high?

PHOTOS!!!!!! need PHOTOS!!!!!! So exciting. Get us a few photos to determine what you need and how to go about doing it. These are my three 100's. 2005 72k miles recently bought for my son. 04 (bought new and traded in 2014 for an LX) 02 with 69k miles I use as my toy.

Very nice rig. Lots of options with an original truck like this. Like I guessed, needs new seat bottoms and a good detail to be perfect! Clean up those battery posts with some baking soda and grease first thing. Seat bottoms are well worth the money if a pristine interior is important to you. Good upholstery shops can reproduce them in vinyl or there are reproductions on the market. I would drop the boards, add a set of BFG's and enjoy it as is.

I've been on the hunt for a 98-01 in white for a few months now and this one popped up locally with 273k for $13,000 (ouch!). Has anyone here in so cal checked this one out yet? any surprises or red flags?

-I bought my first 100 in 2016 with 225k on the clock for 6k...so the market obviously has changed and I'm having a hard time swallowing the current prices.

Seems steep but I'm wondering if I should at least offer 11k cash since it checks off all my boxes. The only thing that would make this more perfect would be less miles. I currently own a well-maintained gx470 with 237k miles...so im not afraid of the high miles (and I guess i could also fetch high market value for my gx if i do buy this 100)

-white
-no navigation/touch screen
-grey interior (rare for white exterior in my opion)
-timing belt done 20k miles ago
-looks incredibly clean for high miles.

Its one of those wacky dealerships where they have a ''location'' but when you google map the location theres not a single car in site. I'm guessing he's an auction flipper that stores them at his house. which is fine but i dont think i can just pop by. I'll call the guy and bend his ear.

I went looking and found the listing maybe call and get the vin for more research of the "dealer" maintenance. Maybe it checks out.

I have a buddy that auction flips as well, plan is to get the vin and run it through him so he can see the auction history and price.

Cool- look up the dealer service history at Toyota Owners website. See if he's been honest about the stated dealer Timing Belt service. Retail dealer prices seem similar to what i'm seeing in the southeast for clean maintained high mileage examples. I like this 2004 Galactic Grey Mica one. Other than the color it's less miles and 5 speed.

Note the brake fluid and accumulator condition.

So I went to go look at that high mileage white one. If anyone is interested here are the repairs or issues I came across in my ten minute walk around ( I didn’t even test drive it)

-rust just above the windshield passenger side. Covered up with touch up paint
-surface rust on rear axle
-Left rear axle or brake line was leaking
-bumpers and side trim were all repainted. They went a little too gold on the color. Overspray on the white behind the bumpers, tires and suspension.
-tires have a lot of tread but sidewalls are heavily cracked
-front seats were “repaired”. Basically tried to repair the rips and cracks but made it look worse.
-random black spray paint overspray on the left side of the dash near the mirror controls.

I passed basically because it was high priced from the start. If it were all original then I might have haggled but too many things were Mickey moused for the price
