I actually miss my old Winston Fun and Muds. I was sad to see Winston closing its' doors.
I have a pic of my Fun N Muds somewhere too.

1. Cripes, I remember being laughed at when I showed up to a 4WD club meeting with 33" tall tires in 1970, a Gates 31X10:50 or Norseman was the big thing back then.
2. I recall guys racing the Baja with BFG sponsorship having better luck with BFG's street tires on their race vehicles, but BFG forced them to run the All-Terrain or Mud-Terrain off road tires- - -just some Gee Whiz tire information.

I remember my buddy and I going down to the local grand auto and buying some white spokes and some norsemens circa 1987. I think the total was like $350 mounted and balanced! Those were the days a 33” tire was huge!!! My first fj45 wagon had tru tracs on it that was parked for 20 years. They still looked new, but didnt trust them. I gave them to a buddy, and we did a wheelin trip to hollister hills. On the way down all 4 tires literally came apart on the freeway. I did tell him they were old!!
