Tried on & off a few times, but need to spend sometime looking around. I just checked for lights.

Does anything light up on the dash? It could be an ABS-delete switch so you wouldn't know unless you drove it.

Do you have any audio mods? It could be an f.m. Modulator.

That switch blank just pops out. Take a look behind it and see if there are wires connected and where they go.

I had a similar mystery when I bought out 2000 LX. It had the in the headrest video monitors. Took me weeks to figure out the switch was to make the videos sound play more clearly through the FM channel it was tuned too.

The modulator takes the audio output from the roof mount DVD and communicates it (wireless) to the LC FM radio.

Where did you find the actual unit? I can't for the life of me trace mine. I have the same exact switch as you and know that it's an FM Modulator because when I flip the switch on the lower frequencies it screws with my radio.

It could be anywhere....In seat back or under console are likely places.

I think it may be under the cover area where my steering wheel is, like where that air vent below the steering wheel is. Anyone know how to remove that panel?
