OEM 16" wheels- not split rims....

Pete

Front framemember the one that holds the radiator supports and the bib-hinge.
Mine is rusted and I had to repair it a lot.

Also a complete set of inner frame C-channels would be nice.

Are we talking aftermarket, or true OEM?

If you are thinking of reproducing true OEM stuff...then the T-moon hubcaps, rain gutters for corrugated tops (not the same as newer tops as they are longer), and while not for me yet - there many who would love OEM style Toyota rims, but in 16"...with cap clips...just to name a few parts that we can not get, but would love to have.

Isn't Tom working on getting those T-moon hubcaps made?

I hope he isnt. I will have 500 of them in about a months time...This is my first announcement of it. I didnt want to say anything about it until I have them completed. We know how much of a commotion that can cause.

Commotion...yes...that cap thread in the 45 section had a glimmer of hope, but for what ever reasons, the caps materialized :frown:

Very cool...I'll PM ya.

I think the 16" rims would be a great next offering.

I know that JohnnyC had a company make a SS muffler to match the OEM specs...but they don't make the pipes...that might be a good product as well.

How about early tail light brackets, but formed with the lip as the original, and not just a laser cut part out of thicker gauge to compensate for the missing lip?

Oh...really good OEM type seals...doors, tops, true bug catchers, and so on.

Clean old steering wheels, and really nice horn buttons...now that I think about it, the list is quite long...

For a '68
1. OEM red seatbelts
2. the white textured material used in the running boards
3. vac advance switch repair kit
4. new dash knobs -- especially the heater knobs that break all the time
5. emergency flasher switch and the red cap
6. the little latch that goes with the PTO lever
7. transmission cover that has not been cut to pieces by people converting to floor shift

..... lot's more

Post a picture!

I'm not selling one, I WANT ONE :)

But it should look like this one that was sold two years ago by a fellow mudder.

If we can generate enough interest on this I will make it happen.

I believe that some people purchase the new step, then cut and weld the tabs at the top to mate with the older holes in the rear cross member. What I don't know is if the step itself is of the same width.

It may be, hopefully I'll find the old one somewhere. My resto is trying to be as OEM as possible. :)

OEM steering wheel and horn button. with no cracks.

L.E.D. tail lights for the fj40 usa. o.e.m. fit just remove the old housing and lens and use factory hard wear. and for us guy who want to build a new rear bumper but keep the factory look a flat back and sealed of coures. thay would be as common as a 350 swap in a few years.
