What do you think of the 08 off road wheels??$$??

Just picked up the new 08 fjc last night and finaly decided to go with the nicer loaded packaged rig vrs the off road package since a lift would be coming down the road for it soon anyways. But i really like those new wheels. Probably because they look like my wheels on the 80 seriers.
They have 5 off road wheels at the dealer they will sell me for 500 bucks. what do you think good deal or no?? I think they would look pretty sweet on the new bfg mt's

I think $100 per wheel is a steal for just about any Alloy wheel, specially factory.

not ready to do it yet, but i think i will be swapping my offroad wheels out for some black aftermarket wheels. Gotta do lift and stuff first. but yes, i think 500 sounds like a good deal.

I was think about going black or black and chrome wheels also but for the money i cant buy new ones for 100 a wheel. plus i think i will put the 17 inchers on the 62. i was thinking also that blacking out the gray color on the wheels might look ok

The 5-spoke offroad wheels look a lot like the later 80 series alloys, and I like those . I'd do it!

so i bought the wheels yesterday and guess what got traded in at the dealer. an 07 trd fjc with only 11k on it. granit the 08 has more options on it but was really wanting a trd. damn it!

They have the side visors by the grab handles which I find very useful;p

the trd that was traded in didnt have the upgraded alarm system, it didnt have the subwoofer, and it also didnt have the pass side arm rest. plus now i have off road wheels for mine now. so i am fine with it

O, yeah. Those were all addon's for the TRD, but my TRD has them all. I also like the TRD wheels and BFG tires that it came with, but a set of dedicated off-road wheels and tires would be nice so I don't mess up the TRD one's any more then I already have.

I would like to get the new intake dohicky and those extra sun visors do sound helpful.

I have them on my SandStorm. Like them a lot. They do remind me of my 80 series wheels.

I thought the 80 series wheels would look great on the FJC. Right about when I had found 5 matching wheels, had them blasted, powdercoated, and found new caps, the pictures of the '08 off-road package wheels came out. Oh, well - at least I have a semi unique looking FJ.

They did require spacers (Spidertrax) to fit over the front calipers.

I love it. Looks great. Thats why I bought my 93 fzj because it was the first year that had those wheels. They are my favorite.
