hey hows it all going been watching site for a while heaps of good info, i have a 1988 74# mwb 13bt cruiser and it dosent have a lsd in in rear is not even full floater would a full floater from anthor 70# fit straight in. not enough money for diff locks at moment thanks

from a heavy duty pre 1998?? is a straight bolt in but double check the gear ratio inside, some 70 series came with 3.7 and your 74 will have 4.11..
or you could just bolt a Aussi locker into the unit you now have for cheaper...

ok thanks. the diff i have has the bolts to remove diff head on the rear of it. could be keen on a aussie locker, do you knoe how they affect the normal day to day driving ? are they noisey at all ? thanks.

i am having a hard time decifering what you are trying to say...
so i will guess.
you are saying you have a semi floater rear diff and would like to know the driving characteristis of a Oz locker.
slight torque steer when accelerating and decelarating. clicking when turning.
if not shimmed properly then loud banging can be heard when turning and severe torque steer can result.

And note that tire size and inflation pressure can have a huge effect on the manners of lunch-box lockers. For the road, higher tire pressures will result in better manners.

sweet thanks, and yes have a semi floater sorry about the confusion. have another wee question with pto winch do you just put normal g-box oil in or does it requier something else ? thanks
