Drove from NM to Tulsa for grandma’s 101st birthday. Found a set of decked drawers on marketplace in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Recruited my nephew for a 2 hour road trip to go snag them. Good score, fun trip, truck did great.

What I did to my Tundra was scratch it up pretty bad dragging it down trails that are better suited to jeeps and RZRs.. oh well. But I was looking for some logs for my front yard landscaping. Found some good logs and marked down some good campsites for future use.

Installed TRD rear sway bar on wife's 22 Sequoia TRD PRO.

Installation was easy, all bolts went out, none broke. I sprayed the frame inside and outside with Noxudol 700 (inside) and 1600 (outside) when it was brand new, it pays now.

The effect on steering and body roll is minimal, I'm not even sure I felt any improvement. IMO not worth it. Could be that TRD PRO already has a stiff enough sway bar.

Tundra seat mod—fully functional with factory Pro seats. 2” lower. No lights.
My Tundra buddies @js0k and @steezy have been kicking this around for a while.
I’ve never liked the seating position so this is what we came up with.
From hate to love: more in-the-truck feel. I feel like I’m driving a big sports car now.
Super happy with the results.

Super happy with the results, night and day!
Big thanks to @js0k, my project manager, in our remodeling business. I sure am blessed to have him! We spend half the day talking about trucks and cruisers.
This is not a kit; it’s a full Doublewrench custom job: one-off seat bracket and layers of modifications. This is a full commitment; once you surgically cut the feet off the sliders, there’s no turning back. I couldn’t be happier: it looks and feels better than factory, and a shorter person can still move the seat and operate the truck comfortably.

How bout you make my truck the next guinea pig and if it works, THEN you turn it into a kit???

Ayup, it’s real! It’s the best I’ve ever felt in a Tundra and I’ve had a few: you can attest to that! 🤣
Believe me, I’ve thought about swapping in Scheel-Mann seats more than a few times, but at the end of the day I wanted to keep it OE. I feel we were successful in our endeavor.

First oil change, tire rotation, greased the driveline. Had to hammer sockets onto these stupid two-piece lug nuts to get the socket to fit. Ordered some new lug nuts from Amazon. Then drove my pup to get his annual shots. He seems pretty comfortable 🙄

The second gen Sequoia center console is a dog haven.
