Over the last couple weeks:

Replaced almost all the radiator and heater hoses (Napa - Gates) on this recently acquired 60. Along with thermostat, gaskets, yada yada... Running the zerex super cleaner though it to hopefully clean out some junk before putting in the IAT Zerex Original Green that gets me back close to original as I can find. Cleaned up coolant hard pipes also.

And miracles do exist! Toyota of Easley was able to perform the outstanding rear seat belt retractor and fuel tank recall. So there ya go, I got a new gas tank.

If you have a 60, do a VIN search for recalls... you just might get lucky. I was pleasantly surprised. I need to take a of the new tank.

I went ahead and had a new fuel gage sender unit and uptake hose assembly put on the new tank (just made sense) and new fuel lines back there. The filler neck hose got replaced in the recall as well. There is a full list of parts in the recall doc they changed out.

Put in a new fuel line and toyota fuel filter from hardline to fuel pump as well. Fuel system should be good now.

Got new (from Denso) spark plug wires and air filter. Better price than discount toyota sites.

New PCV valve and a few new vacuum lines here and there. I still don't feel confident about this spooogetti of hoses and their locations.

new air intake housing to top of carb seal

Rebuilt my original pair of Icon 2.5" coilovers with new hardware. Got new top hats and bolts along with the 4 FK bearing joints and misalignment spacers. The plan is to adjust them to fit my wife's 4R.

Parts from SDHQ.com. You gotta talk to someone in their sales dept to make sure you get the right parts, as not everything is listed in their web store. Bearings are about $20 ea and the misalignment spacers were about $44/coilover. Top hats with 12-pt bolt are $80.

Extracting the crusty circle clips was the most time consuming part of this. Banging on them with the right sized socket loosened them up enough to pick the end of the clip and yank it out with pliers.

Don't be surprised when Toyota offers to buy your rig!

can you get me the name of the vendor for this bumper?

This is the guy. @TallPineCruiser is trying to order one as well.

Slotted becoming slotless. New steel and pads went on Saturday between soccer and rain. Feels better. Any suggestions on what to do with the scrap? Maybe worth a dollar at the scrap yard.

Crab pot anchor or counter weight for a cattle gate. I feel like there's more cows than blue crabs in Spartanburg.

Just down the road we are famous for pens for cows. ;)
