No doubt, yours will be amazing. I recall that you were considering a crawler build but also considering a garage queen. Have you decided one way or the other? Mine is certainly the latter, but I think my wife is going to force the sale of my 80... Therefore the 40 will pick up some trail duty.
Garage queen for sure. let me know when you decide to sell it! Im looking for nice 80 like yours as my new camping rig so I can build a truggy out of mine.

Bought something to replace something that broke. Waiting...

Impressed! From Australia to SC in 6 days. This started as needing a switch for the 200. Apparently the short switch change came mid model and I have it but the typical CH4x4 models don’t fit. I found a reputable referral to Stedi. Voila!

Now the bad. Since my cheap light bar died after meeting a Jeep’s underside, I decided to try out Stedi’s version. I selected a 22” and eyeballed measurements since it had adjustable bottom mounts and end mounts included. Pretty universal. Nope. Turns out that this Australian designed bar does not fit the Australian ARB bumper. The light tabs are perfectly spaced to hit the dead spot between the outer limits of the sliding mounts, and inside the end mount.

It should be fine once I bridge the gap with some angle and drill new holes. Just a delay that I did not anticipate and could have avoided with a tape measure.

So the 200 uses a cartridge filter and the housing is plastic. Mr T designed it that way so its fine.. Right? Mine was okay but some owners have reported cracks in theirs, usually from the simple task of removing it to change the filter. Oddly enough some ugly, lesser vehicles got the same housing in metal. Swappable

Of course when you’re in paint stages it’s either raining, cold, or raining and cold. The heat wouldn’t come to me so I brought the heat to it. Built an indoor paint booth and got my spray on.

several small things on the 62 that have been bugging me for a while...didn’t take many pics because there’s not much tech involved, but much improved anyway. Replaced both tail light lenses, both front fender marker lights, rubber grommet and rod catch for the hood prop, and MY HORN WORKS AGAIN! All new OEM parts. And, that little C clip on the horn pin wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

Bumper damage painted and cheapo light bar replaced. Not Baja Designs or Rigid money, but this Stedi output is awesome. Will have to keep an eye on the temps since it does look like it blocks a lot of the grill, but the old light was never an issue and blocked about the same.

Finally got the turtle fixed and out of the garage giving me a little time to put into the 40. Also had a visitor crawl in to help.
