Not gonna lie, switching the ratchets on DT Swiss EXP system is about 100x harder than non-EXP.

I love the gay purple Hope 4-pots, but where's the background cruiser content? Also: rear only? What happened?

Seized rear pistons …. 2 out of 4 were shattered.

The entire brake system was a 2nd hand kick down. So no known history.

Anyway, ordered a bunch of seal and pistons kits and will rebuild the one I took off. All will be kosher soon.

Finally got around to throwing on the 175 TI cane creek cranks and PF 30 BB. SRAM XO’s held up well but time to move on. I generally prefer blackout but black was already out by the time I got these cranks on a smoking deal.

went tubeless finally! my vegas trip is coming up in a few weeks so gotta get the bikes ready for some desert riding!! View attachment 3611144
this’ll give me some time to make sure i don’t have any leaks before getting there

Bring extra with you. Everything g in the desert is ready-made to destroy tires.

After my last bikepacking trip-my old wrists and shoulders told me it was time to give up on rigid bikes for off road travel. Which is sad, as I do love the simplicity of rigid bikes when I'm in the middle of nowhere. So, now my Mone has been updated with a yari. Quick ride around the block tells me this is going to be fun! Can't wait to get it out for another trip in a few weeks.

Stopped in to pick up the new nine.one front fork yesterday. Decided to ask if they install them at the Push shop and they said “sure bring it in tomorrow”. So I did. They even threw in my CC 110 head set I had planned on installing, all for free.
Can’t wait to ride it!
