Fairly certain that rear bumper and skid plate are Ironpig Offroad. I don't know about the sliders, but it is very possible a one off slider built by them as well.

Yep

Transfer case skid is a Slee I believe...I have one on mine that was installed by the P.O., very stout for sure!
It’s an Iron Pig Off Road skid plate

Had my dealership buddy run a carfax on the 96.
Looks like I'm owner # 4. Lived in Nevada from 96-05, went to CA to a dealership I suspect, got sent to NJ from 07-18, and then lived in NY from 18 until 23 when it was parked.
That explains the overall condition. Crusty, but not "lived it's entire life in the rust belt" crusty.

Typical rust belt sitting crust. Not awful, not great.

I would like to ask mud's help in identifying the sliders, skid and rear bumper. I suspect this was built pre 06 so maybe some old parts on it?
The front bumper is easy, an ARB winch bumper with a Warn M12000. I think the front bumper is the most rotted part of the truck, can't believe how bad it is. I can save it, but I never knew ARB stuff could rot that bad.

Slider's are welded on. Seem pretty heavy duty and have certainly seen some action.

Rear bumper has nothing but a tire swing. It doesn't use the typical trailer spindle for the swing, so I'm not sure what bumper it is?

I assume the trans/transfer case/crossmember skid is also aftermarket.

Somewhat close to mine rust wise but on mine the front axle housing was torched and the rear wasn’t far behind so I got both axle assembly’s haven’t put the rear in yet but soon enough. Still dialing in the front axle assembly gotta refresh the swivel hubs and wipers next. My rear rockers have gaping holes in them and somewhat on my mid rockers so I’m gonna cut them out and find someone who can do some boat side sliders instead of doing sliders off the frame.

Installed a pusher fan, hopefully help keep the under hood temps down with the turbo, will definitely help keep the AC ice cold when idling.

What fan did you install? 100 Series fan? Did you use a mounting kit?

There are kits out there, I bought a spal pusher fan that’s rated at 1350cfm and just fabed a couple simple l brackets.

Had time to do some maintenance on the cruiser
Changed oil
Installed Solvefunction steering shaft seal, works great
While under the dash decided to pull fan and see why it doesn’t blow that hard.

Well some bozo decided to cover my car in rocks driving recklessly a week and a half ago. Thankfully, I had a dashcam and my insurance was great about handling it from there with his. Just got it back from the shop and maaaan it looks good. They painted the entire front end and the entire roof. I added the sunroof visor today since it got here last week when it was getting painted.

Was it very difficult to get out? I'm thinking that could be an issue for me with my '92.
Really not hard at all. Bottom cover is 2 Phillips screws, a rod that unclips and the hinge that kinda clips. Get that off and there is the motor 3 T20 torx screws and and electrical plug. Took me about 20-30 minutes and I wasn’t hurrying. Several good write ups on it mud just search.

Just drove it over a small milestone, I’m stopping to take care of that pesky light
