last weekend - regular oil change before going up to the Hot Rod Power Tour in Joliet, IL (didn't see a single land cruiser up there, but was there for my Uncle's panel truck)
today: rear diff and transfer case oil change - hit your bolts first to break up the rust + liquid wrench/pb blaster + time + impact and I finally got the fill plug on the rear off - t-case was normal/easy.
next week's plans are a transmission complete drain/fill and that should complete my baseline fluids, and hopefully I can get a wheel alignment - I suspect the lift needs some caster correction though.
got it back from the shop a little over a week ago where I got all new front brakes (rotors, pads, calipers, fluid flush), power steering line replaced, compression test done (found an old maintenance record from the first owner about 12 years ago that showed issues there - none now), and a new right hand knuckle because someone previously used the wrong bolt and rethreaded it to 1.5 - helicoil failed as well. O2 sensors - not done, I have a leak in the catalytic converter and the muffler is also shot, so I'm onto a new exhaust altogether, luckily I have a guy who specializes in Toyota exhaust near me 304 stainless, above frame is what I'm going for once he's back.
Ordered slee rock sliders and skid plate a couple weeks ago.
Guess it's a good thing I didn't get into SAS in time; I still plan on being on vacation that week though and might be out there anyway.

We found a great spot next to Rollins Lake with the "cabin" for $55 for the weekend. It was definitely nice.
