Had saggy visor syndrome so got some LS visors from @kbFJ60 for a quick fix. Also my dash was starting to crack in its 2nd spot so thanks to @RFB and @Box Rocket I ordered an Escape Gear dash protector after seeing theirs. Was too warm though for snowfall and ended up raining on the drive home :(View attachment 1886056 Also had a thorough smog check but passed no prob. Tech was making me nervous peering around the engine bay a while and had the truck for over an hour!View attachment 1886053
i love the escape gear cover, works very well.

Santa Barbara county has been in severe drought for a long time, even after a lot of the state got some rain/snow, we were still in sever drought. We got a decent storm last week (big enough to warrant evacuations for Montecito, the place where the mudslides were last year). Well, to me the only natural thing to do when there is that much rain is to take advantage of the fact that National Government is shut down (we will avoid my personal opinion on that debacle) which means there is no one around to close the gates for 'safety' concerns. Wife and I had a little outing...

I haven't seen that much water in a looong time, the lake in the picture is probably 4x it has been:)

Do you have a link for the spacers? Mine isn’t adaquate anymore
This is the best I can get. They aren't listed separately on the EHO site. But I'd just call Kevin Brown and tell him you want the swaybar spacers that come in the slinky kit.
Suspension 80-Series

Here's the part # on the site. SKU SA70101

Getting a new windshield as I type...

I nursed the cracked one along over a year while I sourced bronze LX glass but need to get inspection next month so it was time.

Found a Safelite shop that is full of LC enthusiasts that know the right way to install it and they let me bring my own glass/gasket to them. Also let me into the shop to take pics :).

Why bronze LX glass, do tell?

It matches the bronze tint glass in the rest of the truck. At some point it will be unobtanium and I may need to resort to the blue tint. For now however, why not match what it came with from the factory.

blue tint? Just tint everything real dark and it'll match :) Factory tint isn't dark enough to make much of a difference anyways.

Did you order the dash cover directly from escape? Shipping comes out to be almost $100 bucks when you calc it on their website. They are rad and I really want one!

Is the LX Bronze more than standard glass? I have crap SafeLite glass in place now, looks like someone sandblasted it. Insurance wanted $400 additional out of pocket for OEM LX glass. :bang:

Part # 5611160070. Cheapest price I could find online was $563 - https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/lexus-glass-windshield~56111-60070.html

It doesn't even exist in the Safelite database (maybe as it was only available for two years).

I found one on RockAuto last spring and bought it for ~$300. It arrived shattered. They refunded my money.
A few months later I bought another from them and this time it arrived in good shape. Unfortunately, it appears they don't sell windshields anymore :frown:... I wonder why?:).
