You go through wheels like no one I have seen! But damn if that don't good!
Still have the SCS wheels and 35’s. That’s the only set I’ve had other than the stock ones. Jumping to 37’s required new wheels since there are so few options for 37’s that will fit a 16.

But I agree, it looks good. Really digging the Icon Alloys.

I carry a dewalt 20v grinder, USA made 1/2 impact and chainsaw and usually a 1/2 drill a dewalt charger and run them off or recharge them thru a 700watt PSW gopower ivertor hooked directly to a 100AH odyessy extreme (house battery) never left me wanting. 700 watt keeps my 18650s charged, my laptops cameras and 20volt batteries No need for some 1500-2K invertor. jmo

Tried going to the mall, but they only allow Jeeps so I went and buried my truck in the swamp trail at my house. Bottomless muck beats lockers and KM3's! My winch is dead (again) so it was my daughter and her 80 with a working winch on her 80 to the rescue. I didn't heed the hollering and peeled the flare off of it. At least I actually did SOMETHING with my truck. Totally happy.

What winch is that?

What winch is that?

The non working one on my 80 is a Superwinch ep9.0. The one on my kids 80 is a Warn VR 10,000. Mine is good but the control box gets wet an poos out.

Got this done.

those look killer, well done
Thanks
It looks so grown up! Congrats! How's it drive?
So far so good. Nice and smooth.
Stop making me internally justify the 37's that I don't need! Looks amazing. What changes did you make to suspension?
No suspension changes. I might do a small radius arm relocation to move the axle forward 1” for a little better firewall clearance. But otherwise it’s a Stage4 HD 3” Slinky suspension.
5.29 or 4.88 still? LOOKS AMAZING!
4.88s. Feels good to me.

Loved both my LS400’s, hoping to add an LS430 eventually.

The LS is a great stable mate for an 80. I am very torn I have a 2006 which is the last year for the 430, and often think about trading up to a 460, but I don't love the looks of the 460 and a lot like 80's guys, 430 people say the 460's are not as well built as the 430's ugh.

As part of 430 fanboy club I commend you to stick around with the 430. I’ve tried the 460 it’s simply a little too big for DD. AND besides it’s a little quieter the 460 doesn’t ride much if any better than my 430 sport. There is a certain feel 430 has that no other LS has, she is almost just like the 80! I even like the look better than the 460. In fact my ls430 and lx450 are color matched, BSF(best stablemate forever).:p:D

I drove a new LS430 back in 2005. It was the best riding car I had ever driven, but way out of my league. I have coveted one ever since.

I love driving this car!
