Also realized my slee ext SS brake lines dont quite keep up with the droop the superflex/king/dobinson combo allow. so I gotta get custom to make be longers. and yea I laid the gloss black on thick up in the spring towers but Shes still got no rust second northeast winter on deck, which is why Im outta here cali bound or death next week.. and MOAB

I prefer Porter Cable cordless tools. I have very few air tools that I use anymore, (other than hvlp gun) the 20volt 1/2” impact will throw you across the ship if your daydreaming! Lol
I use accuspray and a beast hvlp the name escapes me. what do you spray?

Fixed my AC (it's Iceeee coooold now) and took the 80 for it's first off road trip since I got it - caught up with @perrobravo and @Dan2722 and hit the Southern California Desert. Nothing crazy. Got her dirty!!!Drives fantastic. Tested out the Tough Dog lift, dialed it down for off-road and it was amazing. Thumbs up for this kit @TRAIL TAILOR

The one thing I had to deal with and will be working on in the coming weeks was the high temps on hill climbs. Got a blue fan clutch on order from Joey @NLXTACY and will start with that before digging further into other cooling system components.

Love the 80!!! And the build continues....

The old lady and I drove to whitefish for Christmas vacation!
37s and stock gears on the freeway aren’t bad at all. Averaged 13.7MPG over 620 miles.

I prefer my Tekna ProSpray. I’ve used, and love the 3m accuspray also! For primer I usually use my older Devilbliss

So you said you had the 30mm HD rear sway bar installed already? How big is the improvement with the front? I was told that the front didn’t do that much.....now I think I’m going to get the front too. Is the front also 30mm? Thanks!

When you go to the grocery store and realize the shopping cart has more cupholders than the 80 series.

That’s a lot of driving to have some other dude work on your car and drink is beer as a thanks. Lol
Beno uses Jedi tricks to make you imbibe. Im sure of it.

are the Hella horns quite a bit louder

They’re a lot louder than stock but not obnoxiously loud - they’re a lot higher pitch than I assumed but do the job - I think they cost around 25 bucks - great upgrade for the price!

Was fiddling with the 80 in the driveway this weekend when the neighbor kid came over and said "why is your daddy always messing with that jeep?" 3 of my 4 Kids, 7 and under, all chimed in at the same time, "it's not a jeep! It's a Land Cruiser!!" proud dad moment...

Someone needs to bring their kids out for desert some night!
