Sorry...couldn't help myself. It all depends on if you set the motor to TDC. If so then the rotor should be roughly around 5pm. Check the static timing to make sure it is at 3* (or a little more if you run higher octane gas).

Thanks, totally forgot about that but it’s changed now. Yeah it’s kinda crazy how close the mountains and taho are from here. No wonder some mmudders in this area run the rubicon all the time.

Very much so! I hope you remembered which position the rotor was when you took it out. If not you have to turn the engine my hand so it at 0.....must consult the holy book of LC, aka FSM.

Took a ride over the mountain from Battle Ground to Washougal on my second full day as Washington resident.

Went up to the local mountains and got a little snow that would melt as it hit the ground. Went on a trail I hadn't been on in 15 years and was the same as it was back then, so that was nice. Lots of mud and no one around.

Put a set of Hexomats in the front, and hooray no more mats sliding around the floorboards. Also did the passenger side window run w/o removing the window - window works great now, but what a beast of a job... Also, noting that the Dorman replacement window motor from Amazon came with the wrong plug. As it happens, I don't think I need it. If all goes as planned, will be mocking up new Hella 7-inch lights tomorrow, and (god willing) stereo install on Monday!
