Looks like a 1fz-fe but has a different intake. Prob one of the non us market for the 105 series.
Yeah I was thinking it looked like one. I think they had later versions with more HP and it was due somewhat to the intake design change.

Its the 3rd Gen 1FZ-FE. It has a different intake and head. Has 240hp stock vs the 212 on our current engines. Has a coilpack instead of a distributor. I will be starting a thread for my engine swap where I will discuss the differences between our engine and this one.
I made progress yesterday assembling my Summit Cruisers spare tire swing out:

It's a bad day in this cruiser household.
Saw a puddle at the front of the 92. Thought maybe a hose. Nah, split along the top "gutter" in front of the cap.
Cracked open the oil cap on the 93 and found this.
On the plus side I have a spare 1FZ-FE with 150k on it I just got for free that I need to just go pick up. I guess I will be speeding up that rebuild.
And yes, I'll do leak down tests and all that happy BS too. FML.

I was told by the PO that it was replaced. Not certain though. New radiator and such so there was probably a overheating event but that was 23k miles ago.
I'm reserving judgement for now. She isn't using ANY coolant so just going to pull an oil sample and send to Blackstone. Not sure it will say much as she burns a fair amount of oil. I've added five quarts in the last 5k.
She's due for a rebuild, I would say. But I'll rebuild the less tired motor on a stand then swap it in.
I had just texted @NLXTACY about the new motor and thinking I'm going to supercharge it if they are still available. So, not totally worried about it.

Replaced the replacement Bosch O2 sensor with the Denso unit. Cleared up the engine code the new bosch oem unit didn't...go figure. The pictures were unexciting so I'm not posting them.

Finally made a bracket for my ICOM 2M Ham radio. Made a video about it. Posted it on YouTube...
I clayed, I show glaze #7'd and carnuba'd the roof, and the hood for good measure. Then it rained.
Nothing like a good bead on fresh wax.
