Darin and I installed a new radiator today. No gremlins showed up and everything went smooth as planned. His Holly Sniper readout was saying 210+ degree before. After it was steady cool at 190 or below. I'll call that a win!!

Fixed my taillight problem and started cleaning the frame to get ready to seal it. All the details iare in my "Rusty" build thread...

 
I was able to successfully remove the stubborn old front differential fill plug. It was quite difficult. I then filled the differential with fresh fluid and installed the new drain plug.

Late in sharing a technique that I have found effective in such a case ...

If you have a welder, I have found welding a bead in the center of the bolt head is very helpful. First, it adds material to the bolt head so I can get a better bite with the vise grips or pipe wrench. Second, heat introduced via the welder is very intense and deep which helps in loosening up the bolt. When I use this approach, I don't trust myself to stray off the bolt head with the welder so I tape aluminum foil to the area around the bolt head with head exposed. An added benefit is the contrast between the foil and bolt head aids in making the bolt head more visible through the welding helmet.

Yeah that is good advice. I tried welding a big nut to it, but it kept breaking off. The heat probably helped though.
 
I cleaned and installed some parts that have been setting in a box for the last four years. While they may not be brand new, they are in decent shape and can be easily swapped out later if I choose to purchase new ones.
