That’s what im worried about. Most of the time when it’s too good to be true, there’s a reason.

Guy says they hold air and balance out to 65-70, but we’ll see. Date codes on the tires are mid 2019, hopefully they’re not all weather cracked.

Went and saw them last night. They look good for the price and appear to be as described. Going back tomorrow with cash and a bottle of soapy water, will wipe the sidewalls down to make sure no big cuts or slices. Wheels are almost certainly FJ Cruiser steelies with weld on headlocks. I’ll probably take them all apart, paint the centers gold/ bronze and keep the rings black.

Solid 303 stainless, ill polish it once and never need to worry about it again.

Yesterday when it was almost 60 degrees I put 37 psi in each of the new wheels/tires. This morning when it was 30 degrees in the garage, they each had 34-35 psi in them. I’m calling that a good first test. After church this morning I got out the scotch brite, scuffed up the inner sections, and hit them with some white primer. Color next, this combo should be pretty rad.

Oh, and these are actually 37x13.50x17’s. The width is gonna be an issue as the 35’s already just barely cleared the front springs at full lock. Whatever, it’ll be fine……….

Oh yeah…… 2-3 coats primer, 4 coats color on. Now they’ll cure for a few days and I have 2 cans of clear to hit them with. Can’t wait to get them mounted and see how they look!

I took a break from working on my 60 to get my 1st gen Cummins put back on the road after 4 years. New grill, taillights, tires, bed and a few other items and she looks great again. Had to welcome her back to the road too! (Unfortunately I couldn't upload the video)

My Last job in Colorado was doing maintenance at a local foundry. I chopped up a 10 ton overhead crane for scrap so I saved the hook and welded it to some 2" tube. I got some big chain for my Dad to use on his 68 F350 Wrecker too.

Front axle rebuild is next.
Then I'll get it facing in and get the rear sill taken care of.
