All went well with intake manifold gasket. Always takes longer than you want it to doing it for the first time. Also dropped right side slider to repair broken hardware on front quarter panel. I have a shelf of parts to install..... little stuff mostly but definitely things to do.
So far so… oh f***… the injector was so stuck I broke the tip. Still working on the extraction.

you might want to pull the plugs spin it over so it will not hydroloc. and also clean the cylinders out.

My trans/front driveshaft skid. should have made it thicker from the get go. Remaking with 3/16 and will tie the TC skid into it as one piece now
Got some Method bead grips awhile back and finally got them mounted. I’ve always liked their blue but they don’t make a blue bead grip that fits without modification. There is a lip on the inside that prevents the wheel from sliding over the hub. Took a top bearing flush cut router bit and removed said lip. What a thing to do to new wheels ha. Wheel no longer accepts the center cap but does slide right over the hubs.
Rob was so kind to order me a set of Maxxis Razr MT’s and mount them up for me.
Really looking forward to breaking these in at Potts.

Now you’ve got me thinking about maybe really tearing into this thing and doing the DOD/AFM delete. A little spendy for the cam shaft and new parts. What do you think?

Not a bad idea. They do have lifter poblems with that DOD.
