Been wanting to replace the cam on the 2F. Going back to stock profile so I can get my vacuum decent, before I go TBI. Finally got a time. Need to press cam out of timing gear and press in new cam tomorrow at work. Then start reassembly.

Yep that is the injector tip. There was no conceivable way to pull it out, so i had to tap it through into the cylinder and get it out through the spark plug port with the magnet / borescope.
Wow nice work glad you got it out. Good name for it lolYep that is the injector tip. There was no conceivable way to pull it out, so i had to tap it through into the cylinder and get it out through the spark plug port with the magnet / borescope.
Congratulations!
Ive not used those or seen them in the wild. Seems like a good solution and I like that they are of decent size. Basically to remove break it with a wrench or socket use push button to slide off. To put on slide on by hand, hand tighten then snug down with wrench or socket. Maybe add a lock washer to the process so when driving it doesn’t shake loose???Thinking about quicker release awning stuff. What do you guys think of these? Anyone ever used something like this? This way I can keep my exact mounting setup just super easy to remove the 4 nuts holding the awning to the mounts

It's a 270. Found some similar ones that were heavy duty but they're like $200If you dont have a 270 awning I think something like this would work better and I'm sure you could make something. Pins would be the easiest IMO
