With the help of @Land Shark I did a little cutting. A lot of measuring and a little welding today.

Changed Retro’s fuel filter. Was having loss of power and stuttering test drive was good all “peppy” again

Made a road trip down to NC and picked up a BJ44 hard top for "one" of my stretched 40's.

Found out the 4runner does not like to tow trailer with mesh gate up. 14.3 mpg. Dri\opped the gate and got over 17. Stayed in right lane at 60 mph and got 19.1 on the way home loaded. It was actually dropping to 4th gear trying to hold 70 mph on the way down. Sure missed my Duramax!

Top looks good! I had welded in some angle bar and huge barrel hinges on my rear gate so it folds in half even with my sides in my case.

Straight edges, ratchet straps, go-jacks, tape, and a lot of head scratchin! It is all butt welded but will have fish plates on all the seams
