Installed the Lutz speedo corrector and got it right on the first go. Woohoo. Drained 2.75qtz of ATF from the pan and filled back. Found a hitchhiker....

Who says off-road gear isn’t useful. Used my recovery gear and winch to bring down this crappy tree that was rubbing on the pine next to it

Sunroof delete primed and wayyy to much seam sealer on the inside to make sure no leaks ever. Going to prime and paint the inside once dry and then once I kilmat the top and put a headliner in I'll never see it again. Ignore the area that looks as if i may have potentially started a small fire inside the truck......

Made some tie down bolts for the interior

Also changed the oil and filter. Couldn't find decent synthetic gear oil locally so I ordered it. I've got about 50 more miles before I need to change it and my gears will be fully broken in.
Nice! Cool welding project!

Cut out the rust in the back qtr and welded in a patch. It's not pretty but it's air tight and the tire won't run back there anymore. The seam sealer and undercoating covers my s***ty welding fortunately. Hopefully I can get to the other side before Moab.
Nice work. Same exact job on my truck and the white 100 I had

While I could lock up the brakes at 40 mph, they still felt spongy while sitting still. I decided to pull the master cylinder away from the booster. I found brake fluid on the pushrod. Back of master felt dry, BUT ... i had already bought a new one from Toyota, so on it went. I will get Betsy to help me bleed them and hope to be good.

I did not want to take a chance in Moab!

I also played around with some bends to make a new tailpipe. I think I need a few more.

Worked through re-bleeding brakes, adjusting power steering pully alignment, filling transmission @ temp, etc. and the 80 swap went for its first lap around the block just now!

Doesn't sound or shift all that great (folks say a second finer tune is needed after you get it up and running) and some kinks to work out maybe with the hydro brake booster (was not getting good stopping power, but brakes weren't soft), but it has left it's semi-permanent spot on the concrete pad for the first time in ages.

Brakes bleed and test drive complete to the amusement of my neighbors as I locked up the brakes in front of the house!

Exhaust mocked up and tack welded. I removed and will finish welding it out.

Amazing work! Interested what you do for tuning as I will have to go down this route as well.
