Working e brake!! 😃

I also pulled both rear hubs and repacked the bearings.

A little overwhelmed with this TC rebuild but making some good progress. Meanwhile 100 series rear driveshaft yoke cap came off somehow so trying to fix that. Unsuccessful so far.

Too much grease in slip yoke. NO more than 2 pump.

On the t-case, remember, it is all ball bearings these days!
Been greasing them the same as I've read all over since I got the truck and no issue till now!
@Beach80 thank you I have one!

DS rear inner axle seal replaced. Oil change complete. Drain fill trans pan done. Grease drive shafts dunzzo. Dash cam installed. Second row seat delete with platform done.

Welp 10pm-5am and still didn't get the TC fully back together but man I'm so close now. Just a couple washers, covers, and stake nuts and all will be complete. Couple snags along the way found some bad wear on the main output shaft so I switched to the earlier 60 case components to replace that portion of the case. Glad I caught it though.

Putting in the hours!

So when I drained the differentials (front & back) on the 80 series, it was just goopy sludge. Not sure when / if ever the axles got any service, but with 299k on the odometer and evidence that the seals are shot, I think it needs it.

What's the go-to on axle / knuckle service kits -- Marlin Crawler? How hard is this job?

The fronts are easy just time consuming and messy.
Not sure on your rears. If bearing has to be pressed on off then not soo easy but doable. I like the CO sets but use the Marlin Crawler inner axle seals. I also prefer the Timken bearings but folks have had good experience with Koyo

I approve this message. It's not a bad job . Definitely can be done in the driveway. I just did front and rear last year. If you want to go whole hog since you're there, time for rcv axles? Arp hub studs, abs delete, gears? Not sure on your end goal for the 80 but just ideas if you are doing hub rebuild kit. I bring all this up because I bought more than one kit because I did the above in pieces vs all at once.

Marlin for inner seals, I have used there knuckle kits as well. Cruiser Outfitters is another but Marlin is a one stop shop. You might go ahead and get the wheel bearings for the front, which comes in their kit. That is the one I just used on mine.
