I swapped a bunch of interior stuff in my 96. Going to get a set of seat covers and cushions for the front row and redo those. 2nd row is in pretty good shape with soft leather. Jeading to NC in the am to pick up some more parts. Hoping to get rhis one back on the road as a nice driver. Plans
Ome lift kit. Delta VS, Ironman, IPOR. And a set of 4:88 gears to make this Moonglow triple locked baby go! 35's already on it.

resolved knock sensor CEL after second try. I think there were aftermarket sensors in there that had just gone bad so I replaced with OEM and the light is still off after an hour drive time. Did the starter while in there even though I'm only at 147k. Also changed our two front O2 sensors. No more lights on the dash feels great.

Dude! That’s awesome. Bummer you had to run so quick today but was good to see ya

I have the 72 loaded up and heading back to its home. Pulled the 96 in the work bay for some love. I found something and figured out it's name!

This will be a good time to upgrade the front output shaft to a fine spline set up. Heavy ribbed nose cone and nose cone saver. Buy the twin stick kit if you have not already done so. Also the parking brake may just need adjusting. Most times that is it.

BTW WLSC has an account with AA...

I got the nose cone saver and twin stick. I did think brake may need to be adjusted but went ahead and got the shoes just in case.
Let’s hear more about the fine spline set up.

I didn’t think to check with you about an account with AA.

Post 702. Forgot, you have a 79, so you already have one!

I spent some time in the shop today doing body work. Someone hit the front end of my 96. I picked up another front support that had some rust in it and onother fender. I managed to straighten the old support with help looking at replacement. I used the replacement fender as a guide to align everything. Then had to cut out and patch the rust. Few more tack welds and it should be ready for prep and paint. Always cool to show the tools I used today, plus a few more!
