Took the family to the upper tract of Rapidan WMA. Absolutely beautiful. Long out and back fire road, fun ride great camping area. Saw plenty of native brook trout.

Cleaning up a mess... rodents pissed in my fuse box underhood and built a nest in the air box. $600 plus later in parts and it runs again.

My new springs came in for the rear of Lynchburg Lemonade. Pro comp 2.5". Compared to the Dobinsons, they are longer and move the rear axle back. More like my clapped out Rancho's. Hope to smooth out those bumpity bumpity trails.

PS drive axle seal started puking diff oil. I blame it on Ed seeing that's the last place I was before it happened :flipoff2: also when I pulled the seal it was filled with grease on the back side facing the diff. Weird....

Also, just because the parts store says it has the correct part in stock, bring your old part and size it up.
Glad you got it sorted. How did you make sure you got it in far enough but not too deep??

Will be installing this afternoon. To answer your question though I plan to use a piece of hardwood long enough to clear the A-arm and use the lip as a guide. When its flush with the edge the wood should "bottom" out. Small taps in a circular motion like when I am installing races and other hub seals. At least in theory it works....

Do these have a daisy chain option?

They are the plug in kind and don't have another plug on them so can't be daisy chained (without an extension cord). They're typically are about $18 though and this is good enough for me. I'll just wire up a couple outlets to a switch to use them. Thats only a few dollars

Got the seal in. Carpenter pencil FTW! The piece of hardwood I was going to use was just ever so too big.

As I was putting the knuckle back on the LBJ stud was spinning and would not allow me to tighten the castle nut. Good for me I had a LBJ on the shelf. Bad for me the ball joint tool set I ordered a month ago had not arrive. So off to the parts store to rent one. Yep those kits suck and would not work. Thanks @captainva for the loaner set.
