Which kits are available to change out the stock interior incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs? I remember a while back someone started a thread saying Pfran was either not responding or taking orders, so I’m curious if there are other options?

I can’t speak to the Pfran kit but I ordered all of the parts off Amazon, spent about $20, and have a full LED interior in bright (BRIGHT!) white with spares. If they burn out I’ll replace them, but I’m super happy with the increased amount of light even if it is a little clinical. There’s a thread in here where all of the bulb sizes and parts from Amazon are listed. Definitely an easy and inexpensive upgrade.

I bought mine at super bright LEDs. They were more expensive than the ones on Amazon so it wasn't a smart decision:frown:

going to do the PFran kit at some point in time

Pfran LEDs are garbage IMO. Worst money I've spent
I've seen the variation in kit colors in person. I'd be displeased as well.

The 'clinical' look is the only reason I have swapped yet. I did LEDs in my MB 300D and hate how 'cold' the light feels now- ruins the character of the old car at night, IMO. Has anyone remedied this with an LED that still has a glow, or is that just not feasible with LEDs?

Got mine from superbrightleds.com, been using them for a while. Great product as always from them.

Agree that the 6000k LEDs are kind of annoying in terms of how cold they appear--have some in another car and def an upgrade but wish they were a different tint. I just ordered "warm white" bulbs from superbrightLEDs that are about 3400k. Will post up results...

I did the same.

I picked bulbs that were in the 3000k color family. They are brighter than the factory incandescents but are similar in color. I have no reason to signal outter space with extremely bright interior lights (and I appreciate my night vision).

Anyone has good sources on LEDs that don't flicker after a couple weeks of use?

Installed SuperbrightLEDs 4 years ago and they still work just as they did on day one

For the 2nd row and 3rd row dome lights.

1983576

For the map lights and door lights and reverse lights.

This is how it performs at night. These things are bright and couldn’t be more happy when we start looking for stuff for our 9-month old baby when we drive.

@kpecks will just attach the pictures here for some reason I couldn’t figure out how to attach photos in the PM I’m just using iPhone.

Ordered. Thank you!

I need to find that thread with the amazon LEDs. My interior is in need of an update along with the hvac controls and dash/gauge area.
