It's pretty in its own way. The spring retainers are a work or art, pure genius. Still amazed how small those 35s look next to your 40s.

The axle is just busy work:
pull the locker out to get the Semifloat axle shafts out... then pull off the third, put the locker back in it while on the bench, pull the FF third, install locked third.
Have to remove about 5 inches off the brake lines, so I'll flare the tip and run with it.
Gotta get into the inner axle seals, they're bad... maybe even buy some cheap rotors and pads... think their bad too...
Yeah, I'm going to drop the tank and either put it in the bed and strap it down VERY well for the time being, or find a free small one to put the OEM pump in.
It needs to be outta there so i can do the exhaust once and for all... Everytime i go wheeling i break the exhaust in it's current location. The exhaust is the reason sliders haven't been built.... kinda a domino effect one thing waiting on another waiting on another... the gas tank is what's holding everything up.

It was on FB, not on here... jsut rattle canned to make it all the same color. And actually peeling since I had 45 minutes to mask, shoot and get it ready to go to RBD 2010... It'll painted right at some point...

Tell me about it on the buttoning up. I had forgot to tighten all the bolts down on mine when I took it out on a shake down cruise.

Finally got it complete yesterday... first good day since two weeks to wrench. This swap is time consuming... Especially if you're switching out a locker.... and brake hard lines... messy, just messy... easy just took a whole lot longer than I was thinking.
Now. It needs a rebuild LOL. I'm almost positve the inner seals are shot, but at $18 each... I'm gonna try to hold off.

pulled the gas tank tonight... sized up the crap to go into the new fuel cell.
Don't need it anytime soon, simply seized the opportunity to pick on you some.
