This photo worries me.

I see no beer.
Parts are neatly placed on a clean white table
Parts cleaner bucket is placed on top of a towel
Two correct size jack stands
Somebody looks like they are working in the photo


What is going on here? This will not do.
 
nope. Not yet... well. the axle is all buttoned up, but I'm going to beef up the tie/relay rods this evening with angle iron... then install them...
pulling the rear aussie tomorrow so i can install it in the FF rear that i picked up last weekend... taking all that gah-bage to CottonLand's wrenchfest on Saturday to do that and help whoever else wrench...

that's news on the rear axle - are you going to ditch the lspv? I want to do that swap too.

keeping the LSPV for now... maybe remove it...
I'm only going FF for one reason.... to eventually get chromo axle shafts... that's not an option with SF...

bolts, ARPs, or longfield kit?

I am not crazy about drilling mine out. I may see what the longfield kit is all about?

I think i may have issues when i go to a taller tire.

Eric, remember to check out how I removed my LSPV while you are here this weekend. It was cheap and easy, like yo momma.

I added 2 pins to mine and did ARP studs. No breakage since.
 
broke another birf at RBD... less than an hour's trail time... Unless someone gives me one... another worn out birf is NOT going in this thing... I wasted a 3G iPhone trade on that birf and it really wasn't worth it. lorena will sit until i can afford Long's.... it'll be a few months...

LOL... yes...
the cage split right down the middle.... very weird... but given that i've broken a handful now, and matthew has broken as many... i think I am an expert of how a birf sounds when it breaks and what they look like when coming out...
