You are correct. it pulls from the fender... which is no longer there.... The air box is still there, just pulling warm air from the engine bay. I'll address that in the future.
Some PVC pipe plumbed to the top of the winshield will fix that

LOL. too bad two car batteries won't run a 5000btu window unit AC! That'd be real cold air intake!

Do you have any pics of your dropped shock mounts? I am needing to do this also.
Also do you have any more detailed pics of the bob job? Any advice if you had to do it again?
Nice! I have been having a lot of the same ideas, specificly moving the rear shocks up at the bottom instead of down at the top. I wonder how much moving the lower links will affect the geomerty? I definately like the idea!
geometry? You mean like the class? I'm not in school anymore.
I'm moving the LCA up on both ends... if the geometry is affected at all it won't be enough to notice it on a trail rig...
I don't post much in the 80 series forum anymore simply because I'm a do'er not a discusser. I find discussers will always find a reason to NOT do something, while do'ers will try it, and then redo it if the first try didn't work.
I know exacly what you mean.![]()
