hmm. interesting. That's cool, but I need clearance.

those rear bobbed pics looks like you just changed the angle of the camera..:hmm:

where did you make the cut to suck in tail lights?

I'm running 2" wheel spacers all around because of the 4.75" backspacing of the FJCruiser steel wheels... a friend has some 1.5" spacers... so for the short term, I'm going to swap the passenger rear 2" for a 1.5" just so that the rear tires will be even under the truck. I'll get around to correcting the trackbar for my needs eventually.

Come over and we can take care of that rear bumper. I gots esperiunce

Dude, the frame rail has already had 13" removed and the crossmember welded back on.... torn off from a tow strap and this is Catty's old crossmember now... it stays. Love the factory rear crossmember... I 'may' remove a few more inches later... but for now, gotta get it all welded up and the tailgate shrunk and back on.

Nice! We bobbed and doved a buddies 4Runner and pulled it together with a ratchet strap also. Matter of fact, I think its still all that holds the panels on right now. :hillbilly: Its a little dented.

Brilliant. I have thought about this before, seems like a simple solution.

Keep in mind that the front may have steering issues if you do the front like this... it being further out on one side of the knuckle

Got the dove pretty much welded in place now. No more straps. it's hard finding weld spots on two pieces of metal that weren't made for each other... ran out of wire, so there's more to weld. Gonna get the rest welded up and then work on the shrinking the tailgate... that'll add strength to the whole piece.
