I don't want to enter into any discussion of the ultimate wheeling challenge but we enjoy the jungle and our wet and muddy roads. We never wheel alone since muddy terrain can really fix you and I don't want to spend a night or longer alone in the jungle. Some time I will post some pics.

Post some pics when you can. We all have different objectives with our trucks. Some prefer Starbucks, some prefer rocks, some prefer expedition, some use theirs for work, some use them for carting kids. It's not about that. This site is for everyone with their varied tastes. Not sure how an IH8Mud sticker would go in your part of the world though , but there's plenty of room here for everyone.

Do I know the total difference between a full floater and semi floater - not sure. I think I know the benefits of having the full floater, but don't think I know the whole story. There's a ton about these trucks I don't know. Before I got my 80, I had never had any interest in doing anything. Had put gas in myself, only because I had to. Had never even put in wiper fluid, had no idea what an oil dipstick was or anything else. In the last few years, I've learned a lot, made some great friends, ticked off a few folks , and had a great time.

First week I had my truck, I got stuck in about 6" of snow. Had bald LTX's on and I wasn't going anywhere. I had to use bare hands, no gloves, and dig myself plenty of room to get a head start. Doesn't sound like a pain, but it was crusty snow and it took awhile. I also had no jacket and no socks. Wasn't planning on being out long. That winch you have, no matter how small it is, would have saved me. So for anyone that thinks those options are girliesh

my niftiest toy is my water tank mounted underneath with 12V caravan water pump... will it pull me out from anywhere or anything... no but it's fun to use to squirt cyclists.

i'm with junk on not knowing 100%. before owning this truck i thought a cracked head was the result of a bar fight. now i know it's the result of a bar fight where some mean bastard drains all the water out of your radiator

Personally I think that if anyone is going to post about "latest trends" it should be someone from the USA. We wrote the book on the subject! That was the whole point, people are pursuaded through advertizing and such to beleive in a falsehood. This tends to devaluate a superior product against an inferior one that has a superior image.

As for my comments towards Mike, it was based on countless posts refering to the OEM options that he had already established as being unique to his country. I personally would love to here about what he does with his truck and some of the trips he has taken or plans to take, but the 43rd post on the fact he has a OEM coolbox is too much.

Mike if you bought your truck because you beleive it's the best, than I agree with you. Do yourself a favor, drive that truck where you beleive it can go! Thinking it's the best is no comparison to KNOWING it's the best!

I think thumbnails is a great idea though I was assuming you were taking YaBB code, or Javascript, or something non-intrusive. I wouldn't recommend BB source mods.
