Could you stack washers to act like a spacer?

posted with my thumbs.

I'm not sure you would want to do that given the rotational forces involved....but it might be one choice.

I know they make a number of different spacers for the V-8 engines for the people who run flex fans etc.

I'm sure a machinest could make a spacer for you fairly quickly.. Is the SC spacer for the water pump just roughly a one inch tubular block with holes in it for the studs to pass through?

Give Dan at American Toyota a call.... I know he runs a SC 80 and is one of the best Toyota parts guys around...

Yeah I'm planning on calling him Monday..

Dang man...sorry to hear all of this...
I lost my chocolate lab from HS two moths ago...she stopped eating and lost most of her faculties...it was a tough pill to choke down... :(

The truck is another issue and I hope it gets paired down to simple things in the end.

Sucks man last year I lost my Doberman 10 years to the day I got her. Best dog I ever had. She helped 3 kids learn to walk.

Ha! Dan found me a spacer one of three left in the country...
I could have had one machined or tried to find a universal spacer that would fit but I feel much better about using the trd one.

good news! So hopefully this means you've cleared your head and pulled the cruiser off the market?

I think he'd have to resign In disgrace if he got rid of the cruiser. He'd be like the Richard Nixon of Dixieland Cruisers.

Nope still on the market...
Just don't want to hand some one basket case if I can avoid it.

I'm trying to talk Sarah into it, but she is not too excited about the idea of being a two cruiser family so soon after selling the other one. Even if one is just a short term investment.

Group purchase and part down!
I'll donate parts to the rebuild once I've taken goodies. Haha

short term investment.? The intent is to sell it to some one who will enjoy driving it not laugh as they strip it.

I think you need to update your sig line.. Or are you in denial?

Dang It! should have captured the screen shot.. But I see you still can't let go.
