This other poll is similar, but probably obsolete data now since everyone seems to have been picking up 2016+ LCs and LXs since the US platform's demise was announced.

Just moved to a 2021 LC from a 2019 LX570. The model getting axed definitely played a large role in us making the move.

How do you feel about that change so far?

The LX had a quieter cabin due to the double pane glass and slightly more sound dampening material used. AHC is neat, but not necessary and the leather felt a little more refined. I hated the joy stick nonsense and lack of a touch NAV screen and the cup holders being right up against the center stack was extremely annoying. Looks are subjective but they can be quite polarizing depending on your preference. I will miss the Lexus service and dealer experience when compared to a Toyota dealer but that's not really a factor.

The LC has a sportier and more classic look, the misses much prefers it in that regard. Front seat cup holders are in a better spot and the NAV screen is more accessible. The stock JBL sound system is much better than the non Mark Levinson in the LX. Regular fuel is much cheaper than premium. Second row seats lack the cooling feature that the LX had but I'll never be sitting back there so I don't care lol.

Other than that the vehicles are extremely similarly and we paid within a thousand dollars of each of them. It really boiled down to looks and legacy for us as the LX is the slightly nicer of the two. I don't regret the decision as it's what momma wanted most. In actuality I regret not buying the LC sooner and skipping the LX altogether, I'd be a few years further ahead right now lol.

I'm shopping for a 200 series, curious what version everyone is rolling in. I've always been a fan of lexus, currently driving a GX460, but it's hard to not get a LC!
If you buy a Land Cruiser and decide you prefer the LX you could probably swap keys for one of similar miles/year/condition pretty much anytime. The fact that the LC is gone by Christmas in its current form (new ones) will only make this more so the longer you own it.

Picked up a preowned 2019 lx570 this month. Wife preferred the lx over the lc...did not have an option :) lol

I can relate, been there before, now we have a LC because she realized she preferred the LC all along lol.

got both. 2015 LC and 2018 LX. Biggest difference is the transmissions and the AHC vs. KDSS. The LX is definitely the comfy class winner. We both prefer the 6 speed tranny in the LC and the wife likes the seating position of the LC. But I could sit in the LX all day. I can only do about 8-10 hours in the LC, then I'm spent.

What are the vehicles in which you are not spent after 10 hours? I need to look into one of those....... 😃

Funny how seats can feel so different for different people. I can drive a 15 hour day in my 2018 LC without any problems or feeling too dead at the end of the day. This has not been true for any other vehicle I've owned.
