Wow, I never noticed an AZ Cruiser section on this site! What a dingbat!
Any how, Becky and I are going to head out Saturday from Tucson. We're wondering if anybody else is interested. Here were our ideas:
We've ran so many of these runs down here but we have a couple of thoughts. If nobody joins us I suppose we'll decide Saturday where we'll go. Meanwhile if anybody out there would like to go, reply with your 2-cents worth. Thanks!:
1. Hooker Hot Springs/Jackson Cabin (via the back way from Benson to Cascabel and NE to HHS). This is a "sightseeing run" that wouldn't offer much challenge. This run is impossible if wet so the weather dictates. Heck, someone might want to camp at the Cabin (we can see ourselves back out should that happen) and return home Sunday?
2. State hwy 83 up Lopez Pass then the Sycamore Canyon Loop back to Sahuarita. This is a moderate challenge with a few difficult spots (one very tricky one in the Loop).
3. Open to Southern AZ suggestions (though I'd like to save Chiva Falls for cooler weather, and the Gap for November)?
