101 east bound this morning. Traffic stopped suddenly and she couldn't avoid it. She is just sore but the car took a big hit for her. The official verdict from the insurance company is not in but since both fenders, the hood, the bumper are definitely gone as well as a wrinkle between the sunroof and the driver side door, I think she is gone. Good car too, 2006 Camry SE. that car never so much as hiccuped...

:clap:very glad to hear she is ok - amazing how much safer todays vehicles are made.

The car did its job

Good to hear she is OK

Sorry to hear of the incident, but glad to hear she is OK. Seems like driving nowdays is really tough. So many of the other people on the road are totally distracted and/or really don't care about what happens. John

I am glad your daughter is unscathed. I think that wrinkle between sunroof and door is all you need to know as far as it being totaled. So many potential distractions for youth behind the wheel these days, I don't think I would be able to make it around the block in my car if I were a teen today, I am a bit ADHD.:steer:

She was very stressed last night. Between the accident, a test in school today in a very important class for her and wondering how I was going to react it wiped her out. But you are right, she is for the most part fine, just has a new emotional scar ...

cool she made it out hope she gets a jeep to replace her ride
Actually, it was wifeys ride. :princess:. My daughter is back from school in Montana and borowing it to take another class at PV...

Too bad too, it was definitely in the top 5 best vehicles I have owned and the second cheapest to maintain...
