Welding Help or Sugest a Pro

Hey guys,

I just picked up a set of weld on sliders and a rear bumper from the classified section and need some help welding on the sliders. I also think I will need to do a little fab work on the sliders as they are for a 91 and I'm putting them on a 96. Secondly If anyone wants to give me a hand putting on the rear I'm sure I can use the help. I'm not sure of the weight but I'm betting it's not a one man show!!

If anyone wants to lend a brother a hand I will owe you big time. If I can't get help with the welding maybe someone can sugest a shop to give me a hand in the fab and welding department.

If you can't find anyone to help, a good buddy of mine, Chris Marshall, runs Marsfab offroad in harrisburg (right off 49), he is my go to guy and just tied my cage into the frame on my 40 several weeks ago.

Stan at HFS4x4 in Chesnee, SC should be pretty close to you in Charlotte. He's an excellent fabricator and should be able to set you up with whatever fab work you need.

Hey Dino,
I'd too recommend Stan to help you out, since that is his trade and is MUCH better at fab work than any of us garage shadetrees. With that said, I'd be willing to help where I could, to the best of my ability; however, I am in RTP area. That's about a tank of fuel's worth drive for you and I think your money would be better spent on paying someone.

I cannot say enough nice things about Stan and his work. link to the website is in my sig line if you need it. I've never dealt with Marsfab so cannot say anything good or bad about them. I know Stan looks out for us and is a top notch guy. It was worth the drive from Winston to have him do my sliders.

I will take all the extra muscle I can to do the rear, it's a bolt on and looks to be about ~200lbs. I'm not a small guy but it might be tough holding it up with one hand....

I'm gonna give Stan a call and see what he can do for me.

I'm with Shaun - no welding but can lift. And lift cans. Lemme know when you're wanting to do this and I'll check my schedule. Happy to help if I can.
