Got some from A & A manufacturing and attached them to the calipers with pads installed. It appears from my untrained eye that I need to torch off the mounting brackets for the drum brakes. They are in the way on the axle and seem to prevent the weld on brackets from being positioned correctly. I haven't seen this mentioned in the other RDB conversion posts I've read. Is it normal to remove these or do I have the wrong brackets??

Here is what I am dealing with. The brackets are weld on for 3 inch axle and designed to fit Camaro calipers. You can see the calipers are not able to be mounted correctly if I were to weld this bracket on next to the original brackets. It looks to me like they need to be removed.

I could but Poser didn't have any brackets when I got the rotors from him.
