I'm Lee and I served in the USMC from 76-80 as a 8531 Marksmanship Instructor and a 6541 Aviation Ordnanceman, made Corporal, PI graduate. I left in 80 and stayed out for a couple of years and decided to go Army National Guard in 83. I did 20 years as a Federal dual status technician, Aviation Maintenance, decided to go Warrant Officer and then went Title 32 AGR, I'm still in and just made CW5 in Aviation Safety. I bought my 77 FJ40 two months ago and currently have Bob at TPI rebuilding her from the ground up. Should be back on the road with her in a couple more weeks and a second mortgage!!Ryan @rkymtnflyfisher mentioned this thread to me while I was snooping around asking about wheels and tires for my 40. Thanks to all of our Veterans! Semper Fi!

Welcome Doug, the addiction gets worse as we get older..Greetings everyone!
I have been invited by rkymtnflyfisher to join up on this forum. I didn't know it was here until yesterday! Glad to see so many old salts, and war horses share in the Toyota infection.
A little about myself -
I'm Doug Masnick, and I have a Toyota addiction. I own two now. One is my off road rig - a 1993 Toyota 4Runner SR5 aka The Honey Badger

After 26 years of Coast Guard fun I retired to Charles Town WV (Eastern Pan Handle of WV) and went to work as a Network Security Analysis for the VA, US Federal Courts, and finally at Verizon. Retired again.
Ever since my time on Kodiak I've had a wish to own a Land Cruiser. Two of my best friends up there had FJ40s, and we went - everywhere. Finally in 2015 I bought a 1996 Land Cruiser with the dreaded blown head gasket. Owner just wanted it gone, and we bought it for just over two thousand.
I'm a member of the Off-Camber Crawlers. A four wheeling club based in the MD/VA/PA/WV area and open to all vehicles. The link is in my sig line.
Hope to meet up with fellow Land Cruisers - especially off road, or on an overlanding adventure!
