Welcome to the North Puget Sound Land Cruiser group.

We welcome all owners or soon to be owners who have a love for Land Cruisers. We are a family friendly group that meets at different locations between Everett and Bellingham. Meetups are on the last Saturday of each month.

Please check back here or our Facebook page for monthly meetings, trail runs and tech days.

Hi.

Are people still meeting up this Saturday at 4pm?

Ya. There's a fb event too.
I was tbd based on basketball. But my daughter has a 230 and 545 game

Awesome, I’ll hope to make it to an event. It would be great to meet some more folks who understand why I’m spendso much time and money on an old Toyota🔝

I was hoping to make it but kid stuff is going to keep me away this time.

I am interested, not able to make it this time. Will sub and keep in touch

Good evening all. Finally took the time to track down this group's listing here on the Mud forums. I also just joined the FB group but I'm hardly ever on FB, so if you want to say howdy, best do it here.

Those of you who are frequently active on the Mud forum here, will possibly already have seen that we recently became the proud owners of an '83 FJ60, about 3/4 stock but with a desmogged engine, Weber carb and ManAFre dizzy. Everything else is pretty much factory. We've been doing a lot of small fixer items, already had her into Torfab for one major job, and another coming up in June.

Anyway, glad to be hooking up with you folks. We'll try to get to some of the functions as our nutty work schedules allow. In the meantime, if you see a denim-colored '83 FJ60 driving around the Snohomish area with big white patches of rust-b-gone on her sides, and a seriously bleached hood, that'll be us. Say hi!
Kathryn (me), Kaylee (the truck) and Steve (my husband and copilot)

Welcome to the group and congratulations on your purchase.

Do you have any history on the 60?
Was it purchased locally?

My only history with the 60 was knowing for a long time that I wanted one. Yes it was purchased locally from a man out on Whidbey Island. He said he used it mostly as a hunting rig over in eastern WA. We were very pleased to find it after I'd been searching awhile. Bummed we missed the meetup last weekend, but we'll make sure to get to one of the future events soon. I told my husband that y'all apparently have a habit of meeting at either breweries or BBQ places, and that's reason enough right there to show up. Along with a parking lot full of TLC's that we can gawk at?? What a bonus!

Hello all,
I am a very recent transplant from Iowa. I am glad I found this clubhouse forum tonight. I hope to meet some of you at the next meet up. Also, looking for recommendations for trusted mechanics in the Camano Island/Stanwood area.

For cruiser specific mechanic, I’d contact Torfab in Everett. There’s a couple of us in Stanwood so if it’s something easy, probably willing hands nearby.

Pleasure to meet you. If you see a 100 series with Iowa Hawkeyes license plates roaming around town, chase me down and say hello!
I called Torfab in Everett and Advanced Auto in Stanwood and both were pretty far out. I got the battery light on yesterday and have troubleshot it to either the alternator or regulator. Going to try to locate an OEM alternator tomorrow.
