Hello,

I am in the process of exploiting the lc200 welcome sensor and installing more equipment (when you approach the car the interior lights turn on). Anyone know if there is a 12v accessory I can tap into which activates only when you approach the car and is not linked with the cabin lights ON/OFF switch?

I was almost successful when I tried the footwell lights, it works however when you press ON/OFF cabin light switch, that accessory is turned on as well (which I do not want), i want it only when the car is approached.

Just going off memory here. Maybe the puddle lights are your answer. The ones under the side view mirror. Not sure what circuit they are on, but I don’t think they come on with the interior light switch.

The steps on my Lx have those and I spliced in some leds.
