Okay, I'll post some tonight! Unfortunately the driver's window died yesterday, a few inches open of course... I ordered a new motor/regulator and a switch. Looks like it will be a pain to fix.

Attempting to upload from my phone... As you can see, the drivers window quit on me yesterday...

running boards....hurry...take them off before the LC police find out. You would be better off with a queer brother giving away free blowjobs on King Street than be found driving with those on...just ask Bessinger. :)

Blowjobs aside welcome to the club. The running boards will come off quickly when you hit the trails. Come to the next meeting if you would like. Our next run is in December.

I'm not a fan of the running boards either... But my father-in-law is disabled, so he uses them. I figured I'd leave them on until we get the larger tires and suspension lift - and then he probably won't ride in the LC anymore, so non-issue.

65 FJ4$ Here in Texas!

Hey there folks Here's My 1965 FJ45 here in Texas.... Working progress as they all are. Fortunately, mine came with a frame on resto and did not need to be taken off. I'd say pretty damn original.

I Bastardized it with a weber but wanted sure starts and reliability as DAILY DRIVER and well yes, so my wife and two girls would want to ride in it. (learned my lesson with broken boats) Just put on my "Roo Guard" as my girls call it. Too much animal planet shows i guess. It's actually a Aussie Grill Guard from 4 plus products. I'm also the guy on this forum that is in desperate need of a tailgate and the bug catcher window vent seals for passenger and driver. Anyway, I do take it to various car shows and we have three first place class wins under the hood.

Enough about the truck, i could go on forever. Boat captain here and when not on water, I love the mountains in particular Park City, Utah. Fat chance ever taking the truck up there so i pretend climbing the highest mountain going over bridges and the 2% grade of my driveway in the flats of the Texas Gulf Coast, commonly referred to as the 3rd coast.

Hey guys. My name is Matt. I'll be moving to the charleston area in early to mid 2014. I have a 1996 80 converted to 1hdt, a 76 40 getting a 1uz transplant currently and a bare 78 40 tub and frame that my brother and I hope to build into a trail rig in the next few years. Been on Rising Sun here in Colorado for the last few years but never to a meeting. I'm excited to come out there and meet everybody!

Hey there, Matt!!! Look forward to meeting you! I'm a newbie to this group But it's great having some 80's and 40's around. Sounds like you have some cool projects in work!

welcome Matt....look forward to meeting you and having you attend some meetings and wheel with us in Uwharrie....if you can stand to wheel in the little things we call mountains after living in Colorado. :)

Hey all! You guys are about the most active group around me so I thought I'd drop in and say hi! I'm Dan, originally from California but moved to the Beaufort area a few years ago. I'm going to have to try and get up to your meetings and some wheeling trips.

Here's the FJ trying to fit in but the trail pin stripes give it away. Looks good from afar huh?

Here it is in it's "new" normal habitat (since there's only mud in these parts). Don't get me wrong, IH8MUD with a passion but this was taken today (1/12/14) while snatching out a full size Bronco that was buried to its axles and stuck for 24 hours.

Welcome, Dan! Good looking rig ya got there. Hope to see you at the next meet! Where are you coming from in California? I moved here from Palmdale.

Welcome....please consider coming up for one of our meetings...next one is 1 Feb where we are helping our friend and member Glen move his garage to new location.

Have had a couple Marines in the club from Parris Island and Beaufort Air Station in past....and a few others that never got going.

Look forward to meeting you and having you go with us to Uwharrie on our next trip.

We will set you up with a sticker or two for your FJC....we can also answer any questions about your truck and modifications if you are not already aware of a few that make it more reliable and trail ready. I had a FJC for few years and was pretty much fully built...so can help a little in that regard.

Welcome and hope to meet you soon.

You are not by chance the same Dan that we talked with a couple years ago are you? He had a silver FJC if not mistaken as well...

Thanks! I'm definitely planning on coming up on Feb. 1st if work doesn't take me out of town. I'll post up in the M&G thread so you can pencil me in.

Hello all

Hey guys and gals, Name is Chris. Been stationed in Charleston with the Coast Guard since 2010 and finally got an FJ... its a 2007. 4X4 but I love it... still pretty basic but I know me and it wont be that way for too long. Just wanted to introduce myself and look forward to your knowlege on my build. I used to just build up drag trucks and cars... but I am too out doorsy and I like doing things that do not require a garage at times. Anyways just wanted to introduce myself and look forward to meeting some of you.

great deal we can see if you have 4x4 or the rear locker or ATRAC...help you do the Scuba Mod....if you have ATRAC and REAR LOCKER we can help you with the hack so you can run both at same time like 2008 and later models. So much fun to be had in upgrades and mods...

Scuba mod, rock sliders and tires should be first on everyones list...in my opinion.

Thanks.... I have no idea which one it is.... Any help I can get would be awesome. I plan on meeting up with you guys on the first.... hopefully someone can fill me in on what I have and what I need to do... this is my first time on a vehicle like this... thanks

New guy here, I live in Mt Pleasant, been in the area since 1996. I've owned a couple of 4-Runners over the years but have always admired Land Cruisers, particularly the FZJ80s. I've recently purchased a '94, nothing sexy, but needs a little work. Go easy on me for the running boards, all I can say is, "if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy". Let me know about your next meeting and if there is a calendar of events. Thanks,

-Tim
