Recently, I have noticed that my HVAC and seat heaters do not return to their original condition when the motor is shut off. Each morning (or any other time the motor is turned off) I have to tap the auto button again as the HVAC will be in the off position after a motor shutoff. I checked the battery, full voltage, and even recharged it overnight to be sure it was fully charged. Any suggestions?

thanks,

Confirm your recirc flap is operational by removing the cabin filter access hatch then looking for expected movement with the recirc button.

This thing not working correctly can cause really strange behavior out of the hvac system.

In addition to Bloc’s suggestion:
Battery connections
Water in the wrong place

I have a similar situation. When the car is parked for a long time, the air conditioner resets. It is off when you start and when you switch to automatic it is always at 25 degrees Celsius.

Ps.: my batterys are fine
