There's a perfect Unimog radio truck on Troost somewhere in midtown. I wonder if it's still there. That would be the perfect expedition vehicle. You would just have to gut the inside of the radio portion and you would have an awesome place for beds, cooking, storage, etc. looks just like this

Army Engineers had them. We called them C-Trucks. They were a hydraulic nightmare, didn't handle worth a crap. Basically, good to dig a fox hole.
