My weber seems to run pretty nice at startup but after i have been driving for a little while and tunr it off then start it back up it has a hard time getting started and idles kinda rough. are there any adjustment i can make to help with this or is this the engine and not the carb.

I'd adjust it into an Aisen, but that's just me.

I'd look at your timing, to begin with.

Start it cold and watch the ele choke work. At start up is should be almost shut and run with a hi idle for a few minutes. You should be able to bump the gas pedal and have the idle drop a bit but still be hi then the ele choke should be open a bit more. After it warms up the choke flapper will be 100% open and it should be around normal idle. Turn it off. let it sit 5 min or so. When started agin the flapper should fall back to full choke when you first hit the pedal then open a bit when you turn the key. as soon as you try to start it it should go back to full or almost full open. If it is staying partially shut when hot it could be your ele choke.

Check timing and mixture. It might also be tooo rich at temp.

alright thanks. i do have an exra rebuilt aisin in my garage but just not sure if i want to fix something that really isnt broken.
