my truck came with a Weber in it and I picked up an Amazon carb to get her running again and this plate mess was on here and the bolt holes are different spacing than the new carb. I can’t remember what it’s supposed to look like and these plates are stuck on here..nit sure how hard I should go at it.

There are all kinds of spacers/adapters. That top plate looks thick enough to tap what ever bolt pattern you need.
Did you get the Amoron 2 bbl chinenesium Rochester carb. I'm thinking I'll be getting one and the Delco dizzy clone for about $200 total.

Yeah, that’s the one. I just got the plates off and I think you’re right, I’ll just use the top plate and shift the holes slightly.
I’ll have to look at the dizzy you’re talking about, too.

Two nuts compressed to each other, on those frozen studs will let you grab the carb stud from the lower nut with a box-end wrench. There is probably lock-tight keeping your disassembly from being easy?

If I was manufacturing adapter plates, I'd start with 'tooling plate' - aka. cast aluminum. Why cast aluminum instead of rolled plate, because it won't want to warp when it gets hot. It is commonly used in experimental apparatus employing lasers, fastened to a an 'optics table,' where you can bolt custom adapter plates to support instruments, mirrors, etc. Alternatively, choose a fine-thread M8 stud, and use washers and fresh lockwashers.
