Getting for front and second row. I need the brown color so that eliminates Husky and others. From the photos, the OEMS look thicker. Has anyone here compared them? thx

I’m thrilled with Husky actually. Feels a bit better than weather tech to me. OEM is always going to be decent quality as well.

I love the Weather Tech. We have them in both my GX and my wife's Taco. They're deep enough to catch any spills and muck. With the Weather Techs installed, my factory carpet mat's fit on top of the Weather Techs and still catch the floor hook for attaching them. Have this setup, I always have the carpet pads but if for some reason I spill, step in mud, chunk of snow, whatever, I can quickly just take out the factory mat pads while leaving in the Weather Techs. Love it!
The color is just about perfect, here's a link to my rear (middle seat: 2011 GX460 Sepia interior carpet color question - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/2011-gx460-sepia-interior-carpet-color-question.1271311/#post-14203059
Also that thread is all about floor liners, so you may want to spend a wee bit of time going over it.

Many thanks for the suggestion and reply. I did read that thread and it helped.

Goldilocks...(Ha-ha-ha!!)😁

I have Husky in the wife's F150 and they are great. Iny GX, I have the factory AWM. After my trip to Sedona this past weekend, I'm thinking of replacing them with Husky. I noticed the factory mats are starting to curl in places

I have had both. I preferred Husky. I have the Yitamotor version from amazon now. They are the best ones I have ever had.

YITAMOTOR Floor Mats Compatible with Toyota 4Runner, Custom Fit Floor Liners for 2013-2023 Toyota 4Runner & 2014-2022 Lexus GX460, 1st & 2nd Row All Weather Protection, Black https://a.co/d/gdFNwLf

3D Maxpider in mine and I love them, not as slippery as other with a slightly raised dimple surface and low sheen. We have the Kagu model in both the GX and our Audi.

Thanks All. I'm limited to WT or OEM b/c want to match the brown flooring/carpet.

On my rig, the WT matches so well, they look like factory mats!
I especially like that I can have the Lexus OEM carpet pads still hook into the front retaining hooks ON TOP OF the WeatherTechs!
So you'll always have a plush floor, but if you ever step into muck you can quickly pull out the OEM carpet pads and there will be the WT's already in place!

Another thumbs up for Weathertechs. I also have the Sepia brown interior and the WT is a good match.

I dislike weathertechs because they start to breakdown over time. If you can't do the black husky liners, I would do oem

With all due respect, how long are you thinking till WT's start breaking down? Is this personal experience?
I'm just asking 'cause I've had mine going 5 years now and they're still pliable with no cracking or anything.
Wonder if maybe they've changed the material they mold them from?
The ones in my wife's Taco gets a lot more abuse than the GX with salt water, sand, etc. We purchased her's the same time as mine and hers are also in great shape. Again, no warping, cracking or falling apart.

Same - I had Weathertechs in my Tundra for 10 years and they were the same when I sold the truck as when I bought them. I wonder if its climate related, maybe super hot interior temps cause them to degrade?

Or the cycling of hot and cold in some of the more northern climates.
I believe I've mentioned this before on this forum but the worst thing for interiors is heat. The way med device companies test products for shelf life is they heat them to a specified elevated heat for so many months which equates to "n" number of years on the shelf. At the end of the several months of being in an oven, they're looking for the plastics and seal to breakdown, crack, etc. This is why I always leave my sunroof open, albeit I have a roof top tent to keep debris and rain from dropping in all the time. I've never had my vehicle's interior so hot that my wife or I couldn't sit in it with shorts.
Just something to think about if you want your interior to last.

Although I still prefer the Husky liners in my GX... I have had the Weather Tech liners in my Tundra for the past 5 years with no degradation.

In a Wrangler in Iowa it was 2-3 years. Seeing temps from -20 to who knows how high in the sun on. A 100 degree day with crazy high humidity. When i bought the mats for my GX460 I researched it and i discovered it wasnt just me. They get really soft as they breakdown.

At the end of the day, tomato - tomoto.
I'm sure all these products will last long enough to feel like you've got your money's worth by the time they wear out.
Yeah, I'm sure there are a couple duds out there for any product, but in general I think when we are looking to purchase something, often times we have the mindset that we're looking at it being the very last purchase we'll EVER have to make for that function.
People forget that everything has a life expectancy, so even if your purchase lasted 5-7 years, I'd still call that a win.
